2023 Open Day
Welcome to the page for Cardiff u3a’s Open Day, which is taking place on Tuesday the 10th of October at City URC church, Windsor Place, Cardiff; this is near the station end of Queen Street.
Come and mix with the members and also meet the convenors (the members who run our Interest Groups) who will be ready and waiting for you. They can answer any questions you may have about their group or the u3a in general. There are 45+ such groups now and a full list is on our website at https://cardiffu3a.org/groups which gives details of their meeting dates, venues and activities; each group meets, on average, once or twice a month, usually in central Cardiff.
During the Open Day which also incorporates what members know as ‘Meet the Groups’ you can find out more about Cardiff u3a and membership. If YOU are interested you can ‘sign-up’ on the day or are cordially invited to come along at a later date to one monthly meeting for free, and two u3a group meetings as ‘tasters’ but will be asked to contribute towards any room hire fees which are normally only £1 or £2 or even less! By then we will have convinced you that this is an organisation that is well worth joining.
Refreshments, which are free are in the cafe on the ground floor.
