Lesley Hales will present her talk Rebellion in the Time of Pandemic for us in April. It concerns the Peasant’s Revolt in 1381 and the Pilgrimage of Grace in 1536. Both of these rebellions occurred after pandemics of the plague and had a profound effect on the way of life at the time.
