This group meets twice monthly on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, from 2:00 to 4:00pm. As the Practical Photography Group we tend to concentrate on the Practical Side (e.g. Techniques and  Subjects) we try to have a Photo Shoot during the First Meeting of the month and then a Show & tell Slideshow of the results, in the second meeting of the month in Meeting Room 1 at City URC, Windsor Place.

This group is open to all members of the U3A who have an interest in photography regardless of their skill level. The aim of the group is …

1. to develop an appreciation of the art of photography
2. to improve photographic skills, and
3. to enjoy each others company.
